Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Meeting
The overall goal of UNITAR's Persistent Organic Pollutants activities is to provide support to developing countries and countries with economies in transition to take measures to eliminate or reduce the release of POPs into the environment.
Landmines conference: 7th Meeting of the States Parties (7MSP)
While the situation has improved in recent years, antipersonnel landmines are still being laid today, mutilating and killing people together with mines from previous conflicts.
Landmine Survivors Network Training
For several years the personal stories presented by landmine survivors have had a significant impact in reminding experts, diplomats and decision-makers of the human faces behind issues being discussed.
